摘要：
The Strominger system arises from the heterotic string theory on
3-dimensional complex manifolds. In higher dimensions, Fu and Yau
proposed a modified Strominger system and showed that the modified
Strominger system can be reduced to the Fu-Yau equation. In this talk, I
will talk about the existence of solutions to the Fu-Yau equation on
compact K"{a}hler manifolds. As an application, we give a class of
non-trivial solutions of the modified Strominger system. This is a joint
work with Chu Jianchun and Professor Zhu Xiaohua.
